The Neumann Scholarship

SNS was honored with having a 9th Neumann Scholar from the Connelly Foundation. 8th Grader Ryan Hoffman was one of 37 eighth graders in the archdiocese to receive a full tuition scholarship to any Archdiocesan high school of his choice for 4 years. Ryan will be attending Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor. Eight hundred ninety-eight 8th graders sat for this test in October. Congratulations to Ryan and his parents on this wonderful accomplishment!

 

Junior National Honor Society at Bishop Shanahan High School

Each year at Bishop Shanahan High School the Monsignor Schyler Chapter of the National Honor Society inducts one seventh and one eight grade student from our school.  The four basic criteria used are leadership, scholarship, character and service.  This year's inductees are 8th grader,  Christopher Fagley, and 7th grader, Megan Elguicze.  Congratulations! 

 

 

Gerard M. McTear Memorial Scholarship

At the first school Mass St. Norbert School had the honor of presenting the Gerard M. McTear Memorial Scholarships to students who show leadership qualities in school. These scholarships are given in memory of Mr.Gerard McTear who was an outstanding leader in the community. The scholarships are funded by the Keith Thomas Perrymore Foundation. This foundation was started by the Perrymore family in memory of their son Keith. Two seventh grade students received a tuition scholarship to St. Norbert School based on their leadership qualities. The recipients of this year's scholarships were Matthew Innes and Katelyn McKenna We are grateful to the KDP Foundation and Malvern Federal Savings for sponsoring these awards.
