Thomas Flanery, a World War II veteran and prisoner of war, spoke to the students in grades 4 through 8 about his experience in the war and had his faith kept him safe and returned him home to his family.

 

Pre-K and 4th graders worked together on a wind experiment.

 

 

Our newest Bulldog! Collin (grade 1) has a new baby sister, Molly Caroline, born on Monday, February 20th.  Congratulations to Collin and his family!

K.A. celebrated their 100th Day of school last week.They made posters of 100 things,shared and compared their collections ,made 100 piece pattern necklaces with Fruit Loops and Cheerios and made a trail mix of 100 treats.It was a great day !

 

KB celebrated our 100th day by making hats and filling treat bags with 100 items. The children brought in 100 of an item and shared clues with the class so we could guess what it was. It was a fun day! ??

 

 

St. Norbert School collected over 150 gently used and new coat for the One Warm Coat Drive.  The 6 th grade class sorted the coats and bagged them for a service project for Confirmation.

SNS donated over 600 toothbrushes and collected over $3000 to help the medical mission trip sponsored by St Norbert parish.

The PreK and kindergarten classes saw a presentation on the Chinese New Year to learn about the traditions and customs of this holiday.

 

 

While HASA provided a delicious brunch for the faculty and staff on Teacher Appreciation Day, eighth grade students and parent volunteers provided fun activities for the students.

As 2nd grade is preparing to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, they are learning about people that have spread the message of Jesus and helped to change our world. Each student chose a saint to research and teach their classmates about.  They helped us to better understand why each person became a saint and shared ways that we too can share the message of each saint in our everyday lives.

The 4th graders had fun stuffing the school's winter newsletter into the church bulletins.

 

 

 

On Friday SNS held their annual spelling bee. 7th grader Michael Dobson won the bee and will represent St Norbert School in the Chester County Spelling bee. The second place winner was 8th grader Vinnie Corridoni and the third place winners were 4th graders Eleanor Grous and Sean Martin.
