The tower garden is up and running! Myers cooking for a cause students will be taking care of the tower each week and using the lettuces and herbs that the tower grows in their recipe!

The Upper School is working on spreading KINDNESS throughout SNS.

The students in Mr. Weinrich and Mrs. Riisen’s ELA classes have written their own precepts to encourage positive and kind thoughts throughout our school. We are closing the week with a field trip to go see the movie Wonder written by Raquel J Palacio.

"WHEN GIVEN THE CHOICE BETWEEN BEING RIGHT OR BEING KIND, CHOOSE KIND”

A combined Philadelphia CYO Cross County Championship and Regional Championship meet was held on November 5th at the Belmont Plateau in Fairmont Park, Philadelphia. The St. Monica and St. Norbert’s XC teams have practiced together all season and have supported their teammates during the weekly meets. There were several personal best times set at the championship meet with a team average time reduction of 15% since the start of the season! Congratulations to the team for a fantastic season and their individual achievement.

The 5th grade enjoyed studying the Sacrament of Baptism through a mock celebration of the sacrament.

Mrs. Harlan’s 6th grade Academic Math enjoyed learning the Coordinate Plane with chalk on the blacktop.

The fourth grade classroom was gifted with a beautiful new larger rug! Our fabulous parents purchased this amazing rug and surprised the class with it last week. Look at the happy faces on these children with the new addition. Thank you so very much fourth grade parents.

PreK loved it when Lizzie read them a story, played 'Lizzy Says', and even took them into the gym to play 'Follow the Leader'!

Second grade loved presenting their Pumpkin Character Book Projects.  They learned so much about setting, characters, and character traits.  All of the second graders did a great job providing evidence to support their character's traits as they presented!

Mrs. Hennessy and the Faculty and Staff of SNS got into the spirit of Halloween as Cruella de Vil and 101 Dalmations (well at least)
