October 2016 Pic Collage

8th grader Christopher Fagley and 7th grader Megan Elguicze were inducted into the Jr. National Honor Society at Bishop Shanahan High School. They were chosen by their teachers for displaying scholarship , leadership, service and character.

Ethan Strohmetz tested for his Second Degree Black Belt on September 17th. He passed his test and was presented with his new belt this past Monday, October 24th. He worked very hard to achieve this honor and his family is very proud of his accomplishment.

This past weekend, the St. Norbert CYO varsity and junior varsity field hockey teams participated in the Bishop Shanahan Tournament. The varsity team placed second out of six teams while the junior varsity team finished first in the tournament. Congratulations to all the girls and their coaches, Mrs. Brooke Keith and Mrs. Kelli Czajkowski, for their hard work and dedication. We are also very excited to announce that 8th grade players Holly Altringer, Kate Fitzgerald and Courtney Keith have been named to the CYO Region 32 All-Stars field hockey tournament team. Go Bulldogs!!  

The students in Wednesday's cooking class did a wonderful job! They made 24 mini pumpkin bundt cakes for the Open Door pantry!

Halloween buddy fun with third and eighth graders!

Students in the "Cooking With A Cause" club made 2 large pans of Pasta Caprese and 8 Apple pies which were delivered to the Open Door ministry food panty. The students did an excellent job!


Mrs. Harlan's 8th grade Math class brought their learning outdoors in the beautiful fall weather. They were applying the Pythagorean Theorem to find the missing sides of a right triangle. The Four Square court was a great  place to plot their coordinates. 

The first grade is sharing with others by donating jelly for the peanut butter and jelly drive.

In the Math Center, PreK creates AB patterns with pompoms!


Every Wednesday in the month of October the SNS students say the rosary together before school.
