On Tuesday  the Myers Cooking for a cause class made dream cake parfaits! They used brownies, chocolate mousse and homemade whip cream to create a delicious dessert for the Open Door Food Pantry.

This month, the first grade put together a basket of activities and fun stuff to help another first grader in another school who needs smiles.  The basket included a smiley pillow, coloring books, paint books, crayons, drawing paper, colored pencils and some other items. We are learning that giving a smile to others is a wonderful way to spread God’s love.

The first grade 1A is busy working on their STREAM project. We are learning to make keynotes and to import pictures on our I-pads.  We are learning about our place in this big world.

Students were busy last week in cooking class. We made 60 Apple pie pastries for the open door for pantry!
