Happy Campers at St. Norbert’s!

Our school was once again filled with smiling faces this summer with four weeks of Activities Camp and two weeks of Cooking Camp!

Each day, about 25 students joined in the fun for a half or full day of fun in the sun with different themes including:

  • Tie Dye Day
  • Make Your Own Pizza Day
  • Outdoor Water Fun Day
  • Pajama Day
  • Movie & Popcorn Days
  • Make Your Own Slime Day
  • Pancake Breakfast Day
  • Crazy Outfit Day
  • Christmas Day
  • S’mores by the Campfire Day

Daily centers also allowed the children to explore various indoor activities such as building with Legos, artwork, board games, and puzzles.  Ms. Nunn, Mr. Weinrich and Mrs. Myers had as much fun as the children did!

Mrs. Myers also hosted Cooking Camp, extending her very popular Cooking For a Cause program into the summer. With themes like Crazy About Cooking, Holiday Highlights, and Wild About Baking, about 20 children per day learned how to help out and have fun in the kitchen – and enjoyed the fruits of their labor at the end of the day. The camp also incorporated St. Norbert’s commitment to community service through donations of prepared food and money to a local charity.

We hope to see even more campers next year!
