We are so grateful to our parents, teachers, staff, and, most importantly, our students for working together to make this year’s unprecedented back-to-school season a success! Led by parents David Fritz and David Savage, the school developed and distributed a comprehensive plan to enable the safe return of students to the classroom and a smooth transition to virtual learning for those preferring an at-home option. Together, the thoughtful decisions we made every day to keep our families and school community safe have enabled us to continue to provide our award-winning educational experience focused on Faith, Academic Excellence, and Service.

Though we had to re-envision many of our fall traditions, we found new ways to celebrate and serve during the past few months. Our families gave generously as usual to the Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive and Pink Out Day, benefitting breast cancer research. At Halloween, our younger students participated in a socially-distanced costume parade, while the upper school enjoyed a fun fall tailgate. Our fifth through eighth graders also had the opportunity to share their recent creative work through our virtual art show. (Link)

The first-ever SNS Turkey Trot took place on November 23, when our students dressed up in seasonal colors to walk/run/trot with their buddies. This event proved to be a perfect way to raise money for the American Heart Association while burning some calories in advance of Thanksgiving feasts with our families! Shortly after we head back to school after the holiday, the students will get to create very special gifts for their families, in place of the annual holiday shop. This is sure to create some magical Christmas morning memories!
